Runners follow an out-and-back course for the Omaha Women’s Half Marathon, which starts and finishes at Lewis & Clark Landing, just off Riverfront Drive. From there, the course heads through that park and through Heartland of America Park, both of which lie along the Missouri River, and then over the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge over the river, which separates Nebraska and Iowa. That’s followed by a run through River’s Edge Park and then a long out-and-back stretch along Council Bluffs Levee Road, before heading back to the Lewis & Clark Landing for the race finish.
