Runners start the 14-mile race — as well as the 50K and 50-mile races — at the Horse Campground just off Fish Creek Road. From there, you’ll follow the lollipop-shaped route through the Owen-Putnam State Forest, along mostly single-track trails and a few stretches of fire road. Those running the 14-miler will run the route below a single time, while the 50K’rs will do another loop around the top of the route, and the 50-milers will run another complete loop.
