Runners start the Pacifica Summit Run Half at the entrance to San Pedro Valley County Park, just south of Pacifica off Rosita Road. From there, the 13.1-mile race takes runners along two main loops of trails that wind through the park, the Hazelnut Loop and the North Peak loop, including the Montara Mountain and Brooks Creek trails. The half marathon features one loop around each of these trails before runners head back in to the race finish.
