Runners start the loop course for the Palmetto Bluff Half Marathon at Village Park Square in Bluffton. From there runners head west onto Old Palmetto Bluff Road and Myrtle Ford Road for lots of long straightaway stretches that unfold past farms and stables and tree-lined rural roads. The second half of the race takes runners south along Laurel Oak Way before winding down small streets and crossing the finish line back at Village Park Square.
