Runners start the out-and-back course for the half marathon in downtown Asheville, along College Street next to Pack Square Park. From there, they’ll head north through the city and later on the Reed Creek Greenway, which they’ll follow for roughly a mile before they reach the University of North Carolina-Asheville campus. They’ll follow it all the way to the halfway turnaround on Macon Avenue, and then retrace their steps all the way back to Pack Square Park for the race finish.
