Course Map: Race 13.1 Raleigh Spring Half Marathon

Runners are set to follow an out-and-back course at the Race 13.1 Raleigh Spring Half Marathon, which which starts and finishes on Lassiter Mill Road and unfolds through Raleigh’s North Hills district. From the starting line at Lassiter Mill and the Cliff Benson Beltline, the course takes runners first south and then onto the Crabtree Creek Greenway, which they’ll remain on for roughly the next 10 miles, along a scenic and flat paved running, walking and cycling trail.

Turn-by-Turn Directions

  • Left on Lassiter Mill Road out of North Hills
  • Right on Scotland Street
  • Right on Beaufort Street
  • Left on Transylvania Avenue
  • Right on Alleghany Drive
  • Right onto Greenway at Buncombe Street
  • Immediate left on Greenway
  • Right onto first bridge passed on Greenway
  • Stay left on Greenway
  • Left turn once over next bridge
  • Straight on Greenway, passing McDonalds on the left
  • Stay straight on Greenway past Crabtree Valley Mall
  • Right turn on first bridge on right hand side after passing under Creedmoor Road
  • Stay left after crossing bridge
  • Stay straight until the turn-around at the dead end into Lindsay Drive
  • Return along the same route
  • At the bottom of Lassiter Mill Road, turn right onto Crabtree Creek Greenway
  • Proceed straight on the Greenway until the turn-around
  • Return along the Greenway to Lassiter Mill Road
  • Right turn on Lassiter Mill Road to the race finish
