Runners start the out-and-back course for the Raven Trail Half Marathon in Pennsylvania’s Poe Valley State Park, next to Poe Lake. From there, you’ll run mostly single-track mountain trails through the park, which organizers say feature some tough climbs with plenty of roots and loose rocks, so trail shoes are recommended. After the loop along the Little Poe Trail, you’ll head back to the lake for the race finish.
