All races in the Redding Road Race follow an out-and-back course that starts and finishes at New Pond Farm, a working farm and environmental education center in West Redding, Conn. From there, runners in the half marathon first make a loop around the property and then head out onto the mostly rural, tree-lined roads here in southwestern Connecticut, making a counter-clockwise loop before heading back to the farm for the race finish.
