Course Map: Renfro Rock N’ Run Half Marathon

Runners follow an out-and-back loop course along the banks of Lake Linville, just north of Mount Vernon, Ky., at the Renfro Rock ‘N’ Run Half Marathon, which starts and finishes in Renfro Valley just down the street from the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum. From there, the course heads out onto Clyde Bennett Road and Mt. Zion Church Road, where runners will see the biggest hill of the race between mile markers 4 and 5. Later on, as they’re heading back in the race’s second half, the course goes gradually downhill with a few rolling hills to keep things interesting.
