Runners follow an out-and-back loop course at the Rhinebeck Hudson Valley Half Marathon, which starts and finishes at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds here in this small city in New York’s Catskills. From there, they’ll make a clockwise loop around the village and out along the banks of the Hudson River in the race’s second half, hitting the turnaround point where River Road and Mt. Rutsen Road meet. After that, runners in the half will make their way back to the fairgrounds for the race finish.
