Runners follow a winding, out-and-back run along the trails of River Valley Ranch, a summer camp retreat just outside this small town in northeastern Maryland. There will be plenty of hills and valleys, plenty of challenging trail stretches, and river crossings at a few spots out on the trail. The race will unfold entirely within the River Valley Ranch property, and runners will finish back where they started, at Fort Roller.
