Runners follow an out-and-back loop course for the half marathon that starts (like the other races) at Roaring River County Park, which lies along the river that shares its name just outside the nearby town of Scio. From there, the course starts off with a quick out-and-back stretch east from the park along Fish Hatchery Drive, and then follows a mostly counter-clockwise loop along the roads the parallel the river, Richardson Gap Road and Fish Hatchery Drive, before returning to the park for the race finish.
