Runners will start and finish the out-and-back course for the Rock & Roll Portland Half Marathon at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, which lies between the city’s Naito Parkway and the Willamette River just south of downtown. From there, the course is set to take runners through the city streets of Portland, sticking mostly to fast and flat terrain. The biggest hilly stretch comes along Hawthorne Boulevard, between miles markers 7 and 8.
