Runners start the point-to-point route for the Rock Tahoe Half Marathon in Spooner Summit, and from there follow Highway 50 as it hugs the shoreline of Lake Tahoe through the small towns of Glenbrook, Skyland and Zephyr Cove on the way down to Stateline, where they’ll cross the finish line in the parking lot of the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel. You’ll turn off Highway 50 just before the mile 10 marker, and run through Elk Point before re-joining the highway after a few twists and turns.
