Runners follow an out-and-back loop course all the way around Lake Monona at the Rockin’ Brews Half Marathon (formerly Rockin’ Chocolate Half Marathon), which starts and finishes at Madison’s Winnequah Park. From there, they’ll follow a clockwise loop around the lake, spending most of their 13.1 miles within view of the water. Both the half and the full marathon are USATF-certified, and those running the half marathon will make one loop around while those running the full will make two loops.
