Runners start the out-and-back course for the Run For Pompey Half, like the full marathon and ultra-marathon, at Regatta Park in George Town, the capital and largest city of Exuma, a chain of more than 380 islands in the Bahamas. From there, the race follows the main road through Great Exuma, the largest of the cays in Exuma, all the way south and east to Man-o-Way Cay and Rolletown. Once runners reach the half-way point, they’ll make the turnaround and head back to Regatta Park for the race finish.
