Runners follow a point-to-point course that starts at Laughlin Jr./Senior High School west of downtown Laughlin. From there, the course heads into the Colorado River Heritage Greenway Park, with views of the Mojave Desert all around. The first three miles feature what organizers say is a mild 352-ft. ascent, and that’s the toughest hill of the race – the rest of the course consists of rolling hills and the last few miles are all-flat or downhill.
