Course Map: Run the Valley Half Marathon

All three events in the Run the Valley race start and finish at the post office in Badin, which lies just a short drive from Albemarle, N.C. From there, runners make their way along a combination of rolling hills and some steep stretches along the race course, much of which winds through Morrow Mountain State Park. The steepest hill occurs around the mile 7 marker, as runners are approaching the hill along Morrow Mountain Road. (MORE: Run the Valley Half Marathon event details)
