Located just a few miles from the nearby town of Martinsville, the half marathon follows an out-and-back course that starts and finishes at the Cherry Lake shelter in southern Indiana’s Morgan Monroe State Forest, and follows a winding loop route filled with switchbacks and steep inclines and declines along the forest’s many hills and mountain ridges.
