Fast and mostly flat, the course for the Sam Costa Half Marathon is run entirely on paved surfaces, and starts and finishes at Carmel’s Northview Christian Life Church on 131st Street. During the course of the race, the route takes runners through some of central Indiana’s most scenic suburban and rural country roads, and numerous twists and turns especially in the second half of the race.
