Course Map: Sandhills Half Marathon

Runners in the Sandhills Half Marathon start their race at the mid-way point of the full marathon, on Brownlee Road in Cherry County, Nebraska, just south of the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge and the nearby town of Valentine. From there, the route follows the road as it makes its way gradually downhill, roughly parallel to the North Loup River, all the way to the finish line at the intersection with Highway 83/Blue Star Memorial Highway.
