From the starting line near the swim beach in Lake Park at the Chena Lake Recreation Area, runners follow the route as it winds along the edge of the lake, just outside the town of North Pole. The half marathon will unfold entirely within the park, with three water stops and restrooms available at the start/finish line area as well as around the mile 8 marker.
