Starting from downtown’s Finley Stadium, the home field of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the out-and-back course for the Scenic City Half Marathon takes runners through Chattanooga’s scenic downtown districts and neighborhoods, along a fast and mostly flat course made up entirely of paved city streets. The route takes runners past the Tennessee Aquarium and the riverfront area around Ross’s Landing Park and back and forth across the river, into Coolidge Park and back.
