Course Map: Schaumburg Half Marathon

Runners follow an out-and-back course for the Schaumburg Half Marathon & 5K Turkey Trot, which starts in the Busse Forest Nature Preserve, just inside the west entrance of the preserve off Higgend Road, and unfolds along a winding route through the park’s paved pathways and trails. Along the race route, there’s a variety of scenery inside the preserve, from wide-open areas along 590-acre Busse Lake in the middle of the park to the forest trails that wind along its eastern edges.
