Course Map: Skagway Half Marathon

Runners follow an out-and-back course through this small southeast Alaska city’s downtown and into the hills and mountains just north of town at the Skagway Marathon & Half Marathon, which starts and finishes on Broadway, overlooking the waters of Smugglers Cove. From there, the course heads northeast through town along Main Street, and then heads into the hills of this valley carved by the Skagway River. Once runners reach the 6.55-mile point of the race, the half marathon turns around and runners retrace their steps all the way back to the finish on Broadway.
