Runners follow an out-and-back course for the “Hulkin’ Half Marathon” at Oklahoma’s Spirit of Survival races, which start and finish at Lawton’s Elmer Thomas Park. From there, the course heads south along Southwest 2nd Street, and then east toward East Cache Creek along East Gore Boulevard, which crosses over Interstate 44. Once runners reach the turnaround point in Eastside Park next to MacArthur High School, they turn back and retrace their steps all the way back to Elmer Thomas Park for the race finish.
