Runners follow a point-to-point route through three of Walt Disney World’s parks at the Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon, which starts in the parking lot of the Disney Polynesian Resort and finishes in Epcot, with long stretches through both the Disney Animal Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where they’re building a huge Star Wars area that will open in 2019. The stretches through Animal Kingdom feature the course’s only real hills, along with plenty of jaw-dropping scenery, especially through the Pandora/World of Avatar section.
