Runners start the point-to-point course for the half marathon in Babylon Village on the south shore of Long Island, near the intersection of Fire Island Avenue and Montauk Highway. From there, the race heads around Argyle Park before heading easy along Montauk Highway for the next couple of miles. The course crosses the Great South Bay twice before crossing the finish line at nearby Gardiner County Park.
