The Arizona Half Marathon course is USATF-certified and begins along West Sweetwater Avenue, next to Marley Park Elementary School. From there, the course follows a zigzag route east and south, taking runners across the bridges over both the Agua Fria River and the New River. After runners have crossed over the New River, the course turns south until runners reach West Coyote Boulevard, where they turn left to head in to the finish line at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, across from the Jobing.com Arena.
