Runners start the out-and-back course for That Dam Half in Granbury City Beach Park, which lies a short drive from Fort Worth. From there, the race weaves its way through downtown Granbury before heading west toward Granbury City Park. After a run around the park, the course continues along the roads west of Granbury. After two U-turns on Howard Clemmons Road, runners head east along Crossland Road again, this time heading into northeast Granbury before returning to the finish line, back where they started.
