Runners follow what is roughly an out-and-back loop course around Bainbridge Island for the Great Ferry Race Half Marathon, which will start in Seattle as runners board a 35-minute ferry that will take them over to the island. Once there, they’ll hop off the ferry at the dock and then run out toward the small community of Venice (and through a few local parks) before heading back in the direction of the ferry rock, where they’ll cross the finish line at the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum.
