Runners follow an out-and-back course up and down the sandy Cocoa Beach shoreline at the Beach Running World Championships, which start and finish at Shepard Park along East Cocoa Beach Causeway. From there, the course takes runners first north on a quick out-and-back stretch past the Cocoa Beach Hilton hotel, and then head south back past the pier along the beach, all the way down to the second turnaround point, near Nielson’s Surf Shop at 35th Street.
