Runners will start and finish the out-and-back route for the half marathon at the Beaver Creek Campground inside Watoga State Park. From there, you’ll follow the first half-mile or so of the race along the road and the airstrip to the Allegheny Trail, and then you’ll head onto the trails that wind through the park. You’ll climb some 600 feet in elevation between the starting line and the highest point in the race (around mile 5), and then descend again by the time you reach the finish.
