Runners will start the out-and-back course for the West Point Half Marathon along Mills Road in front of Michie Stadium, overlooking the Lusk Reservoir. From there, they’ll make their way along this winding route through the U.S. Military Academy campus, which is a national historic landmark and where each mile marker will memorialize the fallen in all of our country’s past wars. Expect the biggest hills around mile 5, mile 7 and mile 9, as you’re coming back toward the start/finish line area.
