Runners follow an out-and-back route at the Striders Winter Race Circuit Half Marathon that starts near Eden Park, up in the Wasatch Mountains to the east of downtown Ogden, just east of the tiny Weber County town of Huntsville, which lies on the eastern side of the Pineview Reservoir. From the starting line along Highway 39, runners follow the mostly downhill route westward toward Ogden.
