Runners start the out-and-back course for the Wisconsin Half Marathon near the Kenosha Public Museum and Harbor Park on 54th Street. From there, the race takes runners along a largely north-south route along the Lake Michigan shoreline, with two main turnaround points — the first between miles 2 and 3 near Southport Park, and the second between miles 7 and 8 near the campus of Carthage College.
