Runners in both the 5K and the 13.1-mile half marathon share the same starting line, at St. Petersburg’s famed Mahaffey Theatre on Bayshore Drive near Al Lang Stadium and Albert Whitted Park. From there, runners and walkers will follow an out-and-back course that first heads north along 1st Street and then west along 1st Avenue, and later unfolds around Mirror Lake and through Vinoy and Flora Wylie Parks. The second half of this mostly flat course takes runners around Coffeepot Bayou, across the Snell Isle Boulevard bridge and out to the St. Petersburg Pier and back before crossing the finish line back on Bayshore Drive.
