Southwestern Florida is beautiful all year long, and the city of Naples, which plays host to the Paradise Coast Half Marathon, is no exception. Even February in Naples provides the near-perfect weather for a race such as the Paradise Coast Half Marathon, which also includes a 5K race for those not ready for the half marathon.
Starting and finishing at the Florida Sports Club, the race takes runners through Naples and nearby Lely Resort, showing off beautiful scenery, large houses, and cheering sections to encourage you along the route. The race organizers note that there are a few small inclines on the half marathon course, a rarity in southwest Florida. With the number of celebrities and public figures who call Naples home at least part of the time, who knows: you might spot a celebrity or two on the course.
Runners will have 3.5 hours to complete the half marathon course, and prizes are awarded five deep in 5-year age brackets. The race also offers a virtual option for half marathon runners unable to run in Naples that weekend.
