Ho’omau Half Marathon 10k & 5k

Looking for a half marathon that will challenge you and give you a true taste of Hawaii?

Look no further than the Ho’omau Half Marathon at Ewa Beach. The race takes place on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. Though “ho’omau” means to persevere – this course is breathtakingly beautiful, very flat and fast with no hills.

The course begins at Wai Kai and takes you on a journey through some of the most breathtaking coastline in Ewa Beach. After leaving the Wai Kai facility, runners will turn right onto Keone’ula Blvd before continuing onto Kapolei Parkway. From there, the course gets even more spectacular as you travel along the Leeward coast, taking in gorgeous parks, golf courses, and open spaces.

After crossing the finish line, you’ll be rewarded with a custom finisher’s medal, a cooling towel, and the race provides the option for a delicious post-race meal as an add-on to the race experience.

Perhaps the best part of the Ho’omau Half Marathon is the sense of community and connection that it fosters. The race is a celebration of Hawaiian culture, and you’ll leave feeling not just like you’ve accomplished something amazing – but like you’ve become a part of something bigger.
