Embark on a memorable journey with Aloha Racing’s 2nd annual Ikaika 5K, 10K & Half Marathon at the people’s park in Ala Moana.
Set against the backdrop of Magic Island, runners will be enchanted by the views of Waikiki and the turquoise blue waters that captivate both locals and visitors. The sound of waves crashing at the water’s edge, coupled with a spectacular sunrise over Diamond Head promises athletes an experience to cherish.
Beyond the joy of running, this event holds a significant purpose. Partnering with Still I Run, a charity which supports mental health through running.
All race distances commence with a tour through the Magic Island, where athletes can soak in the sights of the man-made peninsula. As they exit the area, 5K participants will navigate a short dogleg, turning around for a second tour. Meanwhile, 10K and Half Marathon runners will venture into straightaways around the park, with 10K athletes completing one lap and half marathoners conquering three.
The final tour through Magic Island beckons all participants to the finish line, concluding a day of running, breathtaking scenery, and meaningful contribution to the fight against homelessness in O’ahu. Join Ikaika for a run that not only elevates your spirits but also uplifts the community.
