Welcome to this brand new event, the Boise Half Marathon, offering all Treasure Valley runners an epic new course experience.
Scenic Views. The Boise Greenbelt is amongst Boise’s most beloved regional parks, offering visitors scenic views of its natural landscapes and greenery. As for Boise itself, this city is both contemporary and historic, with beautiful landscapes, mountainous views, and architecture throughout.
Utilizing the Boise Greenbelt System, the Boise Half Marathon starts on 1400 Bronco Lane, starting and finishing inside Albertson Stadium on the famous blue turf! The specifics of the course has yet to be marked, so all participants are in for a surprise.
Here are a few logistical bits of information you’ll want to know: All participants will receive a raceday event shirt that they can sport on the course, or keep it fresh as a commemorative piece.
The half marathon will begin at 7:45 a.m. There will be a total of six (6) aid stations throughout. This course is officially chip-timed! Finally, the award ceremony will begin at 10:30 at Peyette Brewing.
