Dam Site Run Half Marathon

Created in 2020 to provide runners with the rare opportunity to run during the pandemic, the Dam Site Run Half Marathon in Hudson, IL, is now entering its fourth (4) year in operation, having since become a highly anticipated fall event.

Scenic Views, Small Town. Thanks, in part, to the time of year in which this event is hosted, the Dam Site Run Half Marathon brings with it beautiful fall colours surrounding Lake Bloomington.

Located within the quant village of Hudson, Illinois, the Dam Site Run Half Marathon event is most certainly a small town half marathon, but that doesn’t mean it fails to make a noise in the community!

Starting and finishing on 17485 E 2500 North Road N, runners will immediately head south on Country Road and PJ Keller Highway. From there, it’s east onto Carver Road before turning left onto Main Road.

Upon reaching the loop turnaround point, runners reenter onto Carver Road where they’ll ultimately find themselves back onto North Road with approach to the start/finish line. This loop will be completed three times for the half marathon.

Along with a custom commemorative racing bib, all participants will also receive a ton of epic event swag. For those who finish, finisher’s medals will also be awarded, along with the more important post-race celebration comprising food and beverage.
