Get ready for a scenic run along the Wabash River with the Wabash Run The River Half Marathon! This chip-timed race is perfect for both competitive athletes and leisure runners alike, with options for a 5K or 10K race as well. Starting and ending at the Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground, runners will embark on a journey through the beautiful Wabash River Trail.
The half marathon starts bright and early at 8:30 AM, followed by the Team Triumph at 8:55 AM, and the 5K and 10K races at 9:00 AM. But the fun doesn’t have to stop after the race! Plan a weekend trip to Wabash County and experience the excitement of the First Friday street festival, outdoor adventures, arts and entertainment, museums, and more.
Again, the course is located along the Wabash River, providing breathtaking views while you run. There are three water stops along the way, located at 1.5 miles, 3 miles, and 6 miles, with water and Gatorade available at each stop. The course features a mix of flat roads, rolling hills, and smooth trails, making it the perfect challenge for those who want a bit of everything. Whether you’re looking for a chance to test your endurance or just want to enjoy the beautiful scenery, the Wabash Run the River Half Marathon is an experience you won’t forget.
