Embark on an unforgettable journey with Athletico Physical Therapy Presents: Wabash Valley Half Marathon/5K/Kids Fun Run on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Hosted by Wabash Valley Road Runners, the event has a fresh starting point at Ivy Tech College, now incorporating the scenic Ruble Park into the 5K course.
For spectators, friends, and family, there’s an opportunity to explore the trails, engage in the Kids Zone activities at the start/finish, and cheer on participants. The Kids Fun Run (ages 4-14) offers a delightful one-mile course on South Education Dr., complete with a Kid Zone party at the finish.
The Half Marathon course, starting on Ivy Tech’s campus, winds through gently rolling hills and picturesque countryside, featuring water stops and enthusiastic volunteers. The 5K route combines on-campus stretches with an off-road trail section in Ruble Park, ensuring a diverse and enjoyable experience.
Athletico Physical Therapy, the presenting sponsor, will provide pre and post-race stretching, injury prevention tips, and consultations. Stick around for post-race festivities, including a Kids Zone, snacks, an award ceremony, and an exclusive runners raffle for 5K and Half participants. Join us for a day of fitness, family, and community celebration!
