Jingle Bell Half Marathon

Sunday, December 9, 2018 • Atkinson, NH • Course Map

Get ready to run for the holidays and at the Jingle Bell Half Marathon. Whether you’re running to finish your fall running season or start your winter races, the Jingle Bell Half Marathon is a fun race to get you in the running and holiday spirit.

The half marathon begins and finishes at the Atkinson Resort and Country Club. The first several miles of the course lead runners in a loop around the Atkinson countryside before heading east in another loop.

From there, runners cross the border and enter Massachusetts near the halfway point, continuing uphill for much of the Massachusetts segment before crossing the border again and re-entering New Hampshire. After re-entering New Hampshire, runners are in the last segment of quarter of the course, with a hot cocoa stop to get runners through the last few miles.

According to the race website, the course passes “conservation land, two small ponds, rolling fields of hay, stone walls, and apple orchards” and is a great race for runners of all levels. Be sure to stay for the afterparty at the resort and country club, which features entertainment, hot soup and cocoa, and of course beer.
