Saratoga Springs Half Marathon

Sunday, July 8, 2018 • Saratoga Springs, NY • Course Map

Whether you’re running only one half marathon or the entire New England Half Marathon Tour put on by 3C Race Productions, the Saratoga Springs Half Marathon provides a rural course for runners in the midst of race season.

The course — which race organizers describe as fast, flat, and beautiful — begins at Saratoga Spa State Park south of downtown Saratoga Springs and weaves its way through the park. Runners can count on tree-lined streets and paths throughout the course — most notably the Avenue of the Pines, which lives up to its name with its many tall pine trees. After a mile on South Broadway, the course turns right and returns to the start for the second loop or finish line.

Half marathoners make two loops along the 6.55 mile course, so there’s plenty of opportunity to view a particularly beautiful sight for a second time or even to spot something new the second time around.

In addition to the 5K course, there’s also a two-person relay option for those who want to do a distance between the 5K and the half marathon. Each leg of the half marathon relay is approximately 6.5 miles long.
