30 for Freedom is a philanthropic race series dedicated to raising awareness and funding to end sex trafficking. Through this model, participants register for local races (5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or 30‑mile Ultra) in cities across the U.S. & beyond, including Utah, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Indiana, during summer 2025—with race day for Utah chapter set for Saturday, August 9, 2025 in Cold Spring, MN variant, while Utah local date TBD.
Participants run to support 30 for Freedom, a nonprofit partner of Venture (EIN‑registered 501c3), aiming to raise funds for rescue, restoration, and education efforts. Registration includes an exclusive T‑shirt and often shipping or packet delivery; all registrations are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
Why It’s Different
This isn’t just a race—it’s a movement. Each runner joins a global effort: options include local timed races or virtual “Run Your 7” challenges, such as the Great World Race (seven marathons on seven continents in one week) or running miles daily Nov 15–22. Each mile and dollar raised contributes directly to anti-trafficking missions.
Local events begin with early check-in and pre-race rally, then mass start waves: Ultra at 5:30 AM, Half Marathon at 7:00 AM, 10K & 5K around 8:00 AM. Courses typically follow paved out-and-back loops on city/nature trails. They close by 1:00 PM local time.
