The Dia de los Muertos Run, a race dedicated to honoring the memory of loved ones who have passed away. The race offers three distances: a five-kilometer course, a ten-kilometer course, and a half marathon. All races start in downtown Pasco and have a mariachi band to send off the runners. Participants will enjoy attractions such as the urban green trail, the Clover Island lighthouse, and a cable bridge that leads into Kennewick.
The first 100 adults to finish their races get a free tamale from Antojitos Maria.
Post-race, there is a big after party. Included in the festivities are the Pasco Farmer’s Market Pumpkin Carving Competition, Best Costume Competition, raffles, music, and more. Kids can grab a free cookie from Viera’s Bakery.
This event has generated over $34,000 in scholarships for marginalized students, empowering them to achieve academic excellence and serve our communities.
