Celebrate the spooky season with the Frightful Finish Line Halloween Run, taking place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach. This festive event features three distances—5K, 10K, and a USATF-certified half marathon—all set along a flat, scenic coastal course.
Participants can expect early morning bib pickup beginning at 6:15 AM, with the half marathon starting at 7:00 AM and the 5K and 10K following at 7:30 AM. Courses are chip-timed, clearly marked, and designed to accommodate runners and walkers at all levels.
Costumes are highly encouraged—look for spooky props and a Halloween atmosphere at the finish line. A costume contest will award prizes for the most creative, eerie, and amusing outfits. Participants will also receive finisher medals, and refreshments and treats await at the post-race celebration. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance
