The name of both a bay on Puget Sound and a city, Gig Harbor is located 45 minutes south of Seattle, and is home to around 7,000 people. August brings mild temperatures in the mid 50’s to mid 70’s with an average rainfall of 0.83 inches. Lows have reached down to 41ºF (1984) and a record high of 93ºF (1996)
